The brief
NestEgg was launching a DeFi rewards token with seed and public rounds, liquidity farming and staggered unlocks. Farming emissions add supply every month, so the team needed to see whether demand and buybacks could absorb it.
What I did
- Allocation across farming, fundraising, treasury, team and advisors
- Individual cliffs and vesting of 12–24 months per stakeholder group
- Round pricing from $0.015 to $0.024 with an FDV calculator
- TGE market cap modelled at $497K against a $24M fully diluted valuation
- A monthly sell-pressure risk score derived from circulating supply
- Treasury buyback loop to offset farming inflation
Frameworks and tools
- Google Sheets
- FDV and TGE modelling
- Vesting schedules
Outcome
- Founders could compare dilution against unlock speed before committing to a schedule
- Investor return tiers benchmarked against each unlock horizon
